i'm terrified of them.  i was chased once (twice actually) by rabid raccoons while i was waiting or heading to the bus stop for school as a young child.  scary as hell.  nope, don't like them.

I am actually terrified of them too. BUt I think they are cute...in pictures ONLY. In person..no...and Otters scare me pretty bad too!

sorry Lorek, I will add some more pics to make an accurate and balanced profile of raccoons..







they can and do chase people and we actually have a raccoon rabies program here because it is a problem in the mc mansion neghborhoods in the county south of here!

awww glad he did that to help them, as said so many would do nothing.  Also glad he was not attacked by momma being so close to her youngins.  bugeye

They are super cute to me.  I like them.  I hate skunks but love the racoons.
