we have new neighbors this spring.  a couple of robins moved into the dogwood tree in my neighbor's front yard!! i got some pics yesterday and last week, mama bird was not happy!! she chased me away LOL>. I used the zoom and everything, I was not that close!!

boy are you right! She looks MAD!  somad  protecting that dopey looking baby in there....how cute! That is one great pictorial!  And what a nice nest she built. impressive architecture, no?

Yeah, look how she has the nest going around that branch!
I will not mess with any Robin's nest!  The used to nest in the arbor vitae right out side our door at work.  There was always a watch guard of the nest.  One day my friend decided to get up on the bench in front of the bushes and try to peek in...well poppa came zooming in from across the drive way and almost got her right in the fanny!  She got scared to death while I nearly peed my pants!  laugh
