I wanna make a Parrot Shoulder cape. I saw one in the Dr.'s Foster and Smith catalog, and it's a good idea.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=22456

But the thing is, i have NO idea the pattern for it...Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Why not start by using t-shirt of yours as a pattern? This way you are sure that it would fit shoulder to shoulder.

That was the plan i came up with after I made the post...I THINK it might work.

 :twirl: thats cool!
Yeah, I would take an old sweatshirt and just cut around it.  It would slip over your head easy enough or you could cut up the front and slap some velcro on it!  thumb

yep an old tee or an old sweatshirt but I would cut and velcro or button the front so you would not have to take the poop up over the hair and all.

I got an old bib from work for when people come over and want Yoshi to hang with them but don't want accidents...just in case.

Why not just cut a circle out of cloth and then cut up the middle and make a circle where you want it to go around your neck? This way you could use hook & eye to hold close and then place toys on it all over. Don't forget to put lots of big buttons and a couple of treat holders on it too.
