My shipment for my food was late . So I went to the only real "Bird store"in my area. I feel bad I stopped using him . But the mark up on his stuff has gone way up. He had baby Macaws there [such a treat]. Their was a Scarlet ,two Catalinas , Blue throat and Red frnt. Neat to see them in person. They blue throat had a lot of personality . The only one not sold was the Red frnt. The owner said they were his favorite kind.

Terri, me thinks it is detrimental to your pocketbook when you are in close proximity of parrots for sale.
I'm surprised you didn't sneak one out & hurry home with it. Blue Throats are sweet. At least I should say Kachina Raye is at the moment.
He is like having a cross between a Cockatoo & a Macaw. He wants to be cuddled constantly when out. He is not a screamer to be out with me constantly, but when he is out he does not like being on his play perch by himself. He only wants to be on me laying upside down or hanging on me like a Teal Blue Bat!
I have now dubbed him a Macatoo.
