Im a hairstylist, this women in my chair was telling me how she moved out of her house . Due to getting a divorce [not her idea]. I felt bad for her .She then told me about her cockatiel that she left there. His cage wouldn't fit in her car [she was worried he wouldn't get taken care of].Her X was saying that he was crying for her. I was like OMG were taking care of this right now!! My coworkers thought I was nuts [I didn't care.} I couldn't bare to think of that loved little bird being left. Im sure this women thought I was crazy [tried to explain about me  :mgc: } Whats funny is this guy thought she was coming to make him and his kids Thanksging dinner . Shes Like the Hell I am !!! . So I knew we had to play along and get the bird before Thursday [and we did]  smile3

OK, now that I've stopped  laugh on the floor imagining the look on the X's face when he finds out all she wants is 'That D$#^ Bird!!' I am so glad you helped this lady get her Cockatiel and she was able to see that she actually did not leave anything else behind but her bird!!  wink1

:lol1: I can just picture this scene of you and this lady marching in to pick up the bird and the X sitting there, knife and fork in his hand thinking he was going to have a feast! Good on you, Terri for helping her out  thumb

Did he seriously think she would go back just to cook a dinner? Sounds like he didn't deserve her anyway

So glad she has her little girl back with her, it was very good of you Terri to help them both  thumb

That's why we love you so much, Terri! You do things like that to help out a bird in need.
