Oh wow, De, that is making me shiver just looking at the pic!

If we get snow here in Devon that is about the amount we get too. We are at the warmer end of the country. Also, living by the sea when it does snow the salt air clears it quickly! Mind you, having said that, our weather is changing dramatically over here, we are having weather that is not usually heard of in the UK, so maybe this means thick snow for us too at some point  cry

Youve had a fair bit haven't you nakia? I do like the snow when it is freshly fallen but not when it get slushy and icy.

We are supposed to be having a bad winter so folks say but like Wendy says, we get a right mixed bag so anything is possible. We shall see if and when it comes   roll

How pretty!

Back when we used to live in Pennsylvania, we would get SO MUCH snow! Sometimes I miss it, but I am mostly glad that we don't get snow here in Florida.

It was all melted away a few hours after daybreak.  dmblaf We do get quite a bit more than that some winters. And when I was a child oh so may yrs ago the winters were horrible with lots of ice storms that would last two weeks or more before we could get out & go to town. Back then I lived on my Grandparents farm 10 miles from town. Thick enough ice it would break power lines & take a good while to get it back on.  sad8

I don't like that kind of cold. And even tho this is Texas, in winter we go past warm enough for snow most times & due to the wind chill we will have as low as -20 F. There is nothing to stop the cold air coming down from Canada since farmers destroyed all the trees from the high plains to a ways past our area, way back in the 1920s & 30s. Those are the times I hate winter down here.  coldbrr
