BP October Photo Competition *Scary Bird Face*

Hi Folks, I would like to announce the BP Photo Competition for the month of October is starting today. This month's subject/theme was chosen by Tiffany (tiffnmango) for winning last month's competition. Tiffany chose *Scary Bird Face* for our subject/theme and this is what she said she would like to see in the photos you enter: 

"Show me your "scary" bird face....A pic of your bird trying to "scare" you. For example...evil eyes....open beaks..."

A very fitting subject/theme for October with Halloween this month! 

Please remember to include your bird's name so we can add it to the photo for the poll at the end of this competition. Also add a short explanation of why your bird is feeling "feisty" and giving you ~~The Evil Eye~Open Beak~Scary Face~~

All photos need to be entered right here on this page. Only one photo entry per competition. Every member including staff is eligible to participate. The winner of this month's competition will choose the subject/theme for November's photo competition. And the winner will also get one of our 'Best Photo Award' Icons  added to their signature area. This Icon will remain on their signature and each new win will get another Icon added to their signature. 



The Competition will run from today October 6th til midnight (Central Standard Time in the US) on the 21st of October. On September 22nd we will be adding the Poll with all the photo entries for everyone to vote on their favorite entry.

Photo Competition Rules:

1. No copy write photos - Please make sure you have permission to use the photo you submit.
2. No photos depicting birds in dangerous situations.
3. Only one entry per competition - If you need to remove or change your submitted photo, please contact one of the staff members with your reason to do so. It is at our digression to determine
    the need for changes.
4. Keep photos within the subject/theme topic.
5. All photos need to be entered here on this page.
6. And last but not least - Let's all have fun!!

Okay, here is my entry! This is the nearest to scary I have of Codie. He is ready to attack poor Santa. lol.

Super photos Wendy & Terri!! Thanks for getting us started for this month's competition. 

Codie better treat Santa Macaw good like I told him already or he will give that boy a 'lump o' coal' in his toy stocking. At the very least Santa Macaw will give Codie a new Fabie sibling!  Shhh, don't tell Codie this secret. He thinks he will always be an only bird. 

Now that's a photo worth using for Halloween coming up of Tequila, Terri! He kinda' looks like just a parrot head with no body as in 'Chopped Off', maybe even by a 'Chainsaw'!!  Just needs a little fake blood splattered about for effect. 

OK everyone else, we have a couple of examples of *Scary Bird Face* so let's see your bird!
