Hey again (oh boy, 2 posts in one day, sorry...).

After checking this place out with a new perspective, I thought of a couple suggestions that our new Admins could consider to make it easier to navigate.

I think there may be too many Forum topics on the main page. It takes awhile to scroll through them to find the one I'm looking for. So, how about combining a few? Instead of having a forum for each bird species, how about having a separate forum just for the most popular ones (you could just go by the number of threads/posts), and combining the other species into small, medium, large, and "other"? You could probably combine some forums for the other topics too, like the "Parrot Related", "Miscellaneous", and "Media" ones.

I think the same could happen for pinned threads in forums. The original admins created just a TON of pinned threads at the top of each forum and it's become a little overbearing to scroll down half the page to get to new posts underneath. Perhaps you could combine some old ones (or delete some... I think a few were created back during the drama days on this forum and are irrelevant now)?

Just a couple suggestions :)

I'm not sure about the topics on the index page. Wendy will decide on that one. The stickies, on the other hand, was my job and I forgot about it. I will get back to it later on today. Thank you for reminding me about it!

Hi Emily,

Thank you for your comments. We are slowly working our way through removing old stickys and threads that are no longer needed. I have also removed quite a few forum categories. All the bird species have just been added as most members like to make a post about their birds within their right category.
