My two youngest standard poodles, Mikkwa & Cheyenne are litter mates and have been the best of friends since coming home to live with me almost 6 yrs ago at the tender age of 8 wks. 

I caught them both snoozing together the other day. I couldn't believe the way they chose to take a nap together. A truly rare photo opportunity for sure!     Mikkwa is the red apricot on the left and Cheyenne is the champagne blonde. I also have their older half sister. She is black and is my username sake here~Nakia.

Thanks Wendy. They are very good buddies.  Their older sister Nakia is the alpha female tho of the 'wolf pack' and she regularly beats up on these two. I am always having to save them from her although she actually doesn't hurt them, just dominates them.  But you would think she has ripped their curls out by the roots with all the squalling they do when she gets on them.

Thanks Blanca. When I saw them sleeping like that I had to tippy toe over to my camera and ever so slightly snap a few photos of them.  They must have been dreaming sweet dreams cause they are usually easy to wake & I miss out on  shot like this.

Look like dolls 

Thanks Terri. They don't look real at all, look more like stuffed puppies. I'm glad I was able to get a shot of it. My dogs are the hardest subjects to photo in my home. They don't stay still & pose for me like Ruby Jewel does.
