Little Yoshi likes to help me all the time when loading the dishwasher. He will help me put away silverware by picking them up out of the container and toss em out on the counter or the floor. If they hit the floor he says "uh oh". I thank him regardless. He is so dang cute. So yesterday I was finishing loading the dishes and as i finished he flew off- i thought he went to his cage. Then I heard the plop behind me. He had gone up to the top of the refrigerator and pushed the Cascade off to the floor. Lil smarty pants knew I was going to add the Cascade and was helping. I love that bird!!

awww now what a thoughtful lil one helping with the dishes... have you considered setting yoshi up as a trainer? maybe women can drop their husbands off and yoshi can train 'em on how to help around the kitchen??

I just love your Yoshi stories Ditty! She is a sweetie as well as a smarty pants. Yoshi you go girl, 'er boy, 'er cutie pie!!!
I have a helper in the kitchen too or at least she thinks she is helping me. Serita Peta my GCC has to help every morning while I'm cutting up the veggies for the flock's food bowls. She runs around from one bowl to the next taste testing the product for freshness, just right crispness & downright useability. Her idea of helping is to throw veggies she doesn't approve of over the side to the floor.
