So, Most of you know about my darlink little tiel Catania. With the Christmas rush behind me, I'd like to begin training her. Her biggest problems right now are climbing down from anything, like a boing or side of the cages. Also going backwards. Perhaps I should take a pic of their play area. and point out the spots that she has trouble getting past. Anyway, I know the foundation is target training. But I need more specific techniques for her backward issue. Meanwhile, feel free to talk amongst yourselves :)

Tiels in general are on the clumsy side. 8)  In time I think Cat will learn to get around much better.  Miah was clumsy now gets around with the best of em ;)

Talk about clumsy! You should see Starburst. Or when Pipper and Sunkist were babies. Pipper and Sunkist fell off the perches, fell while climbing the side, etc, until they were about 5-6 months old. Now they hang upside down from just about everything and attack toys. She will come around. Just keep up the good work.
