This the part where it gets kind of silly.  We'd always heard that tomato juice would get rid of the smell, but she didn't have any, so my mom said my sister used V-8.  It didn't work, of course.  So she had to take him to Petsmart to be defunkified.  While there, she was walking around the store while she was waiting for them to finish, and was talking to a little girl who suddenly said, I SMELL A SKUNK!  So then at the cashier, she was talking to the cashier and telling her about it, and the cashier was sympathetic, but told her a woman had told her there was a lady in the store that smelled like a skunk!
