I can't remember if I posted on here about mine and Justin's puppy. We got him at 8 1/2 weeks old and he is now almost 13 weeks old. He has gone from 4 lbs 3 oz to 7.5 lbs. Being a miniature, he won't get above 20 lbs. He's an American Eskimo Dog. :) Justin's mom has his sister, Piper. They are both staying at his mom's house (Justin still lives there) either until we get our house fixed up and he can move out, or when we both move to the house after we get married. Let me just say...housebreaking is HARD with 2 puppies who are both too busy to remember to not go in the house, and who are too interested in each other. We're making progress...but they are taking longer than any of our other dogs have to housebreak. 1 pup at a time is easy...2 is nigh to impossible lol. They were born November 13, 2012. :) They were the only two in the litter. We are the 3rd and final home in poor Flint's short life. His sister came home 3 days prior, but he had already been purchased by the breeders neighbor. But (fortunately for us!), the neighbor returned him within an hour (yes, you read that right...an HOUR) saying her mother's terrier did not get along with him and she didn't want him anymore.
So, we called the breeder and asked her to hold him until that Monday so we could come see him. We brought him home. :)
He's extremely smart...too much so for his own good, and we've noticed a big stubborn streak. He's going to be hard to train until we can separate him from his sister permanently (with occasional visits) and he's on his own. He's extremely independent, and will be great once we break him of some of that bull headedness and he realizes who's boss! lol!
Meet Flint!
I can't find the pics from the day we brought him home...but he was tiny! lol. He's changed alot.
