wow never seen a close up of a Kingfisher!  AWESOME looking bird!  Helps that it was a great photographer!

And Cocoa foraging-  loveuk  Your pics make me happy and sad all at once.  I wish I could do some of that with Zuri bird to let her get some fresh air and see the world but she just will not tolerate it.  That makes me sad.  But seeing Cocoa enjoying the world is totally awesome!!!

The turquoise on that Kingfisher is awesome! That is my favorite color tho' smile3 Well, to some it may not look turquoise, but to me it does. dknow

Cocoa is an awesome bird as well. thumb He is the luckiest parrot on the planet! He has such a good Dad who takes him to the most gorgeous places in the world. loveuk

Know what ya' mean Ditty. Roscoe has let me put his harness on twice & that was early on when he was still more baby-like. Now he grabs it & tries to shred it & I end up in a tug-o-war to get it back before he demolishes it. :bruce: I watched the video & read all I could about how to train them to wear a harness, but trying to get a rambunctious adolescent macaw to be still is next to impossible. :deer: I merely get close to his head with the part that goes over it & he has it in his beak in a nano second! oh There ain't no such thing as laying it across him to get him used to it. sad8 He thinks it is a new chew toy & that's all he wants to do with it. slaph

Thanks Sondra. dmblaf Not sure if he'd go for it tho', I tried letting him chew on the lead while I was attempting to get the head piece on & he didn't fall for it. :somad: Sure, he was chewing on the lead, but he is greedy & wanted both! :deer:

I think Roscoe needs to visit with Cocoa & let him tell him how much fun he is missing out on. cwy Of course I would have to accompany Roscoe on the trip & I could see all those gorgeous places Cocoa gets to play in. wink1 thumb
