Forum Vote?

I was thinking this morning and I don't do that often.  I have mixed feelings about this but here goes.  It is already in the works and my contract is over in connection with this place.  BUT.  It does not have to close per say.  So many things I payed for will no longer be available.  The chat will be gone, adds will start to appear, some graphics may or may not be affected and many other things I just cannot recall.  So.  I leave it up to all of you.  You can vote for what will become of BP and I am completely neutral on this, If it goes or stays.  I would no longer be the owner but I still could run things etc like the spammers and such if the votes deem this place to stay.  So.  Vote if ya want and if you do be honest and from the heart.. and ya won't hurt my feelings either way so don't be worrying about that.

Well, I for one am voting to stay open.

My reasons for wanting this place to stay open are purely selfish! And I truly understand your need/want to close. But, I recall telling you at least once in the last almost year I have been a PROUD member of this place that you would have to pry :bruce: my trembling tightly clenched feet & claws from the limb I am perching on with My Flock~My Family here. 

I understand about the changes if it stays open and I accept them...Anything if we can just still have our BP to come home to flock in.

I vow that if we stay open to come over here everyday, unless I just absolutely can't find a moment to. The only thing that gets in my way is work...and those ornies :deer: I am determined to get finished & out in the next 2 weeks! And I will make every effort to come up with things to post, no matter how silly or uninteresting it may be. But, I'll try to post things my flock will enjoy. 

Ya'll have watched me bring my fiddies home, each one of them except 2 of my budgies. You've watched them grow into healthy beautiful adolescent birds. And I hope to be able to share the 'terrible twos' with everyone too. And that hulking mess of a dog I have subjected ya'll to since he came to live with me. :cstars: Who knows how big he will finally get & I hope to be able to post about it here. :twirl:

I voted to stay open because ya'll are my family. I love you guys. I love this place. I want to share the rest of the journey with being pregnant, I want u guys to see Noah grow, and him knowing all about this place. It has been a joy to share him with you guys. And i know i didnt post for a while...but I've been trying to more lately.

We here are a family, with or without the forum. SO whatever happens, I'm right behind you D.

I feel like the "red headed step child" here   .....If it's free than why not?  I know some used the chat but you can do that on FB or Yahoo.  I knew this would be hard for you to close down...for us as well.  If it's free than I say do it and the $ part won't be a worry or burden and maybe we won't feel another loss that really isn't needed at this particular time.

I voted for it to stay.  Even though I don't really post as much anymore, I still check every day.  This place ain't about the graphics and stuff anyway.  It's about the folks on here and the birds and animals they love.

About the chat box..That chat server is run on many free forums so it is possible that we may still have it or be able to get it back if they remove it.

I have a short list of sites I view each night after work. They vary from political, and few fishing and of course this site .
This is the first on my list and in the middle and last before the laptop gets turned off.
I enjoy playing the trivia each night not because I enjoy triva but it is with the members of this site.
I am not a frequent but rather an occasional poster.  I love reading everybodies posts here.
I feel like I am part of a great site with some great people with similar
passions and interests.

So I guess it is staying open.  It may look and act very different but it has been so long since I purchased all the perks I do not know how this place will feel and look?    Financially I will be off the hook.  This was never the problem though.  The problem was me dishing out $50 per month for 14 posts a day.  I was no longer getting my moneys worth if that makes sense?  That "buy it and they will come" Gibberish was a crock    All joking aside I will also not be burdened.  There will be less for me to do here and it is so habit it is not a big deal.  After Fat Dog left me I was finding myself coming here often to grieve.  I found it warm and helping if that makes sense?  That had got me thinking this place did not necessarily need to close all the way just because I ended the contract as I realized many of you probably felt as I did coming hear for comfort and such.  I have also excepted the fact this place will be slow with limited posts and I now except that fact and it will be easier.  So, it is here when we all need it.  It will never be what it once was but then again are any of us  :oldg:  FYI.. This is the first poll I have done in like 4 years and almost did not remember how to proceed  :ugstpd:  Oh and Caddisfly?  Once Grey stupidly moves here we will all have to get together and teach that boy how to properly shovel!  He can start at my house
