I thought I'd better add "for a check up" so I didn't terrify anyone :twirl: Z is due for his rabies vaccine...which we could have let slide d/t his age and condition but he has to be physically seen because of the meds he is on. (just like us...doc only prescribing meds for so long without physically seeing the person) I told the gal I would call before we left to see if they were running on time or behind so we could gauge when we left the house. Z never has liked riding in the car and esp now with not being able to really see much and his breathing. They said it would be a quick visit and understand his condition. So off we will be in a bit and I hope he tolerates all this ok.....we are taking his special "Halloween blankie" with us....will help to protect my legs and arms from getting scratched up too! Wish us good travels and visit!

:towel:Clean bill of health considering! He is down 2 pounds and doc says his good days are behind him ( yeah, we all knew that) but he thinks he has plenty left and to just keep up our tlc and adaptions. He got is rabies vac and a med refill. He didn't do too bad on the ride...but it must be hard not being able to see and know what's goin on. So we are safe and sound at home!

Glad he did well! Our Nikki has lost weight also, it's good though as she has many more good days than bad and she's got more spurts of pep with the excess weight off.
