Targeting only the vasas? It's definitely someone who knows her and who she knows. A random person would not have left the greys unharmed as they are well known and valuable. A vasa is exceedingly rare, and not very noisy. I hope they find whoever is responsible and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.

what's interesting is while alot of people are commenting that maybe they are very loud and so look to neighbors, material online says vasa's are actually quite quiet except during breeding season. and with such a rare bird, this lady must have been doing something useful with them. i can't imagine who would do this.... but i agree with grey, had to be that someone knew her and probably knew the birds don't you think? very sad.
