Yeah Man!!   My pretty Wife bought me a beer can chicken holder the other day and decided the time was now.  She wanted a lemon type flavor.  I cut up some lemon and lime wedges and stuck em up that chickens ass.  I then filled a beer can with lemon/lime soda and too stuck it up that chickens ass.  Basted it with Italian dressing with lemon pepper seasoning and did a light hickory smoke and cook for 2 hours  dinner

Before

After

Our fire last night and we heard coons fightin and growling in the woods.

The lemons and limes were not my wanting.  Mar wanted a different taste and said she wanted a lemon type deal.  So, I cut up lemons and limes and stuffed them in the ass against my BBQ etiquette.  But, by dawg gone, it gave a fabulous, unique, tender-full, aromatic flavor that I dug! clap  Can't send ya none.  All gone now ashamed

I have yet to try beer can chicken, but I've heard great things about the method. How about a little Rosemary, pepper and lime or lemon?  droolon2
