I have been following this and it seems the "rescue" had many issues. Birds living in filth, dead rodents around, sick birds, alot of things.  The Humane Society did the right thing.  There seems to have been a lot of hinky activity going on.  There have been accusations of them sweeping the floor of food and reusing it, all kinds of things.  Not a real rescue in my eyes.  Very sad.

There was another horrible incident with a rescue called the Bailey Foundation recently.  Birds and other animals left in a townhouse to starve to death.  Which all but a few did.  This person has actually been arrested.
