Welp, never heard of it till I stopped at me favorite store today. I love ground sirloin and saw the ground rib-eye on sale. I LOVE rib-eye steaks so I decided to grab some. The lady said they are phenomenal as burgers. So I have some simmering in some meat sauce for spaghetti and I made 4 big burger patties for Monday. Anyone had this or even heard of it ground?  |

i discovered this like last year...my first thought was "why grind up a good rib eye steak?" it made awesome burgers though...  let me know what you think. |

I have never heard of ground rib eye either. I would be thinking the same as wishy...why grind up an already delicious steak, but I can see where it would make for a very tasty burger.  I have had buffalo burgers at a very small little truck stop in Guernsey, Iowa. Don't know which end of the buffalo they ground....   It was very good & tasty!!  Guess the Native Americans did know what they were doing picking buffalo over beef. :twirl:  |

Market in the square , ahhh. We go there often.
Mainly for our meats. I picked up four racks of baby back ribs a month or two ago there
for half the cost anywhere else .
