i bought the stuff to make the fiddies stockings last year, but i just never got them made. so i figured i'd get going since i plan to decorate in the next couple weeks.

This is marley's stocking.

i've lost my red felt over the last year, so i guess i'll hafta go buy some red felt before i can do skittles'.

thanks!  smile3

okay i found the felt i bought for skittles', its not really red. since the stocking is red, i figured i'd get a kinda off color. so anyway, they're complete... except for the names. but skittles is screaming his head off. he's had it with momma doing arts and crafts and not playing with him.  dmblaf

btw, i suck at feet, which is why none of them have feet  dmblaf  and i couldnt get the tails to look right so i just figured a front view would get the point across. i may still go back and try to add the tails, but between skittles and darla aggrivating the poo outta me... well, lets just say unless i wanted great dane and macaw cassarole, it was time to quit.  slaph

You ROCK!!

You could add a couple of tail feathers to each stocking rather than making them. Feets can be hidden with a few tiny pinecones.

thanks mar. i'm not a very creative person usually, so i'm really proud of myself.
funny you should say that bout marley, tho, i was searching the net for a pattern for curly toed elf shoes and had my stockings cooling (used hot glue) behind me on the sofa. i hear "chee chee chee chee..." turn around and marley is picking at the feathers.  slaph

thanks sondra, that was my original plan but it just didnt look right.  think  i think marley's turned out the best.

btw, since this is my creative thread, i'm making some felt elf shoes and dressing like an elf for an xmas walk thru at work monday. yup, i'll get some pics for ya'll. it ought to be a blast!

Do them so that they sit on top of your sneakers this way you won't have to bother with soles. Use hook & eye as closures.
You're gonna look SMASHING DARLING!
