Nothing special, just put together with some old bird toy parts but I think my fids should enjoy them.  :roll:

I got that at a bird store last year for halloween. :dmblaf: Course, the fids chewed the other bits up, good thing I always look for toys that have parts I can reuse. :smile3:

wow i love them! i love making toys and watching the fids go nuts on them. btw i see your having a hard time coming up with a name for your quaker as well maybe the two of us can come up with names for each others fids.

lay the parts out and take apicture, maybe one of us will be inspired and sketch you a design with what you have :)  :confused:

Just separate each coffee filter and move one to the right and the next to the left, then right, then left, etc, and it will fluff up like mine did. You"fluff it once it's strung - it's the last thing you do before hanging it.

So LB did you put the filters throught the wiffle ball? :think:

I folded them and stuck them in so they arn't attached.  :wink1:

You can see that the coffee filters are just stuck in so they can be pulled out some what easily.

I made a little filter one for Kito.....had to have it sit outside the cage for a couple of days.  He was none to happy with it at first and beak clicked away till D took it out.  We have to go slower with introducing new things with some of them. :dknow:

We kept Kito's outside the cage a couple of days and then I hung it on the outside of the cage and he started tearing it up so then it went it.    I had showed it to Squigg and Chico and they didn't seem scared of it....Julio on the other hand was a different story!  :laffin2:
