Title: One of our squirrels braves the elements~
Post by: BPMar on February 18, 2012, 02:33:23 pm
Poor little guy didn't care if it was snowing...he was getting his seed and pellets!  :dinner:
I think the pics turned out pretty good taken through 2 sets of doors/windows! :thumb:

Looks like he was saying "thanks!" in that last pic.

Either he is a she eating for not sure how many pups squirrels usually have or she needs to say hi to a wild Brussel sprout every once in awhile.

That's so adorable! He/She does look like it's saying thank you in the last pic.   :hugu:

Ya'lls squirrels look much bigger than ours, maybe cause ours don't need to get so fuzzy for cold weather.   :twirl:

This one does look exceptionally large...and they are fed well!  We had a bunch out earlier...the one was so beautiful!!!  His head had red in it and a red stripe down his back...didn't look like a red squirrel but he sure was purty!

Grey's are big here.  The Red Squirrels are quite smaller but nastier in nature.  Up north of us (Niagara Falls) there are the black squirrels that look just like the Grey's.

love the last pic? "do you MIND? I am eating here!!!? " LOL!!! we have 95% grey squirrels, i LOVE to watch them swish their tails and tell off my dog  :laffhrd:  we started seeing the Canadian black squirrels here 3 years ago, they say climate change brings them south.. I read where they are the same species at the greys, just a diff color coat.. this one looks REALLy big, you feed them well!! he is not cold, he has a layer of fat and a fur coat!  :nails: oo lala!  GREAT pics!
