Title: Beef Teriaki Post by: Ditty on February 06, 2012, 01:15:23 pm Hubs asked for my beef teriaki, went to the store and bought all the stuff and forgot the soy sauce. :slaph:
I personally don't eat it but it always gets rave reviews so here it is... 1 lb thinly sliced teriaki beef 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 TBSP olive oil 1 tsp dry ginger 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder Mix marinade in a baggie, add meat, turn and mix in baggie every hour at room temp for 3 hours. Broil for 10 min, turn and broil another 5 to 10 min (depending on thickness of beef) You can do the same marinade with chicken but it only needs 2 hours with thin sliced cutlets. You can also add 2 TBSP of chili sauce for a spicy teriaki. Title: Re: Beef Teriaki Post by: Sondra on February 06, 2012, 02:04:56 pm I add a bit of vinegar to mine, just for a bit of tang.
