Title: yummy dip
Post by: Ditty on February 05, 2012, 12:21:59 pm
This is a dip I make often and thought I would share.   :droolin2:

8oz cream cheese softened
8 oz of Newman's Own Pineapple salsa (yes pineapple don't know why but this works the best)
beat together until well blended , pour into a 8x8 square pan and sprinkle with cheeses, I use mozzarella monterey jack and cheddar.

Fridge for 1 hr.

I use Baked Tostitos to dip, and fat free cream cheese and lowfat cheeses to make it a little healthier but YUM-O

That sounds delicious, I love almost anything with cream cheese in it.  :dinner:

Makes me wish I had the ingredients here at home & it wasn't 16 miles to town on a Sunday night!!  :cwy:

nope not sweet at all, and depending on the strength of hotness in the salsa it can be a bit fiery
