It has been almost a year (in aug) since HW came to us on the roadtrip from hell.  He is finally allowing me to bring him to the kitchen and will step off to the countertop.  We walk there everyday but he would never step off.  He did twice now.  YAY  clap  Won't be long till he is "helpimg" me in there.

I have also noticed that when Yoshi and Cassie are playing he is jealous and wants to take part too.  But he is too nippy and bitey to let him play like that.  So I keep telling him, you can play if you keep your beak to yourself.   dmblaf

So after a year he is finally starting to trust us a bit more I guess.

Sometimes baggage is hard to let go of. I'm glad he's trusting more, soon more baggage will be let go of and more trust in you and yours will be most evident!

that is great!! its the small steps. i remember the first time skittles let me sit on the sofa while he was on my arm. it was a banner day... of course, it only lasted about 2 minutes, but hey! at least it was a step!  dmblaf
it wont be long at all before you're posting on here "i cant keep HW out of the kitchen..."  lol

btw, ollie came to me about a week after HW came to you, right? so we are getting better here, too. i wish i could get ollie to step up for me... without maiming me, that is.  smile3
