Do you all remember when I brought Hollywood home he had that wierd wing clip?  They are almost all grown in.  i was so worried that some would not grow back in because they were super short. He still has 2 ( one on each side to go and hopefully will grow in)

what a pretty boy you have there.. wow that is an odd clip they did. so glad the feathers are coming in so nice. macaws are so beautiful but yikes those beaks i tell ya they scare me. did you teach him to put his wings up or does he just do that on his own?

WOW!  bugeye  I would love to see a similar picture to the "odd wing clip" one with them all grown in.. I love the lightiing in it!! what an awesome bird? what is his tempermant like now that he is all back?

I tried to get the same pic, from the back but he kept turning around saying "what?"  dmblaf 
Mi he opens his wings when he is excited or when he is showing off so we just put it on a cue to do it when we say Big Biiird.

His tempermant is still the same.  no change but he does not fly around unless spooked.  When we were out at the game I thought he was going to fly and started flapping like mad but held on tighter to my arm.  hardlaf  Goof!  I said Feel free to fly but you can't take me with you.   smfly

lol! that HW is such a character! skittles does that flapping thing. he will flap madly and hold on so tight to my arm. at the same time i have my other hand flapping (like an idiot) and i'm yelling "c'mon skittles flap flap flap flap flap!!!!"  dmblaf
