A White Bellied Caique!
I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited.  As some of you can remember it was a Caique that started the whole thing. Well, I've always really loved birds but I had never thought of having one before.  Anyways, it's a long story but I'll make it short. Today I went to visit my little lovie. While I was there this couple came in and were looking at Willy, the Amazon I talked about in my other post. They ended up taking him out and they really seemed interested. I was so relieved when they left and went right over to take him back out of his cage. I spent some time with him and I was really thinking about taking him home. So I talked my mom into ONE more bird.  Time went by and I was still kinda unsure as to what to do and when the time came that we had to leave I still hadn't made up my mind. So we left but on the car ride home I remembered another bird store had a WBC listed on their website that was being weaned. I knew I wanted a Caique and was still unsure about the Amazon and now that I actually have the money for my dream bird I've decided to do it! So tomorrow I'll be going to visit the baby.  I hope he's still there! I'll try to remember to take lots of pictures but it may be hard with all of the Caiques cuteness.  Wish me luck guys!

I know but I'm ready for it.  I figured out that the reason I kept getting more and more birds was because I never got my Caique... Nah. 
I just called and he is still there! The person on the phone said he was a really sweet bird.  I can't wait to see him. I'm probably also going to buy two more flight cages. Then I'll just need one more for the lovie after that.

I saw the baby today.
And.
Oh.

Cuteness overload!   
They said that he was a bit depressed today because he was separated from his friend, a Grey. His eyes are too big for his head and he's really nice. He even tried to surf in my hair.  Just like with my lovie we went out to lunch, thought things over, and went back to see him again.
I couldn't say yes fast enough. I've been waiting and waiting for the chance to have my dream bird I won't let this little fiddy get away. 
I took a few pictures and I'll get them up soon. Oh he's just so adorable...

I know I'm lucky.  But what cha talkin' bout Wishy? It's the lovie and the caique.  My mom would kill me if I ever get another bird. Alright she'd just kick me out.

Thanks! I know, it seems like it was soooo loooong ago now.  But I guess it was, about 4 years.  Wow time goes by fast. I remember my name was Caique on Bird Channel.

I have a few more from the last visit with my lovie if you'd like to see them. I'll be sure to take lots more next time. They don't stay babies forever.
