E, when did u get a lovie???

On Tuesday. A tiel (Opel) and a LB. Last year I introduced a fellow hiker to buy from a friend who is a breeder. His guy's little girl (3 years old) developed severe allergy and had to send the birds back to the breeder. He couldn't get a buyer for 6 months and asked me for help. I was and still am looking for tiels for my aviary. I took both the birds home. Rachel wanted to keep the LB but I wasn't keen. Since LB looked too cute and tame I decided to keep it. The owner was willing to give me at a very low price. But now I am considering selling the LB because I can't provide the bird longer out of cage time. Cocoa is attacking this little guy. Cocoa doesn't seem to like this bird. I am now looking for a new home for this LB whom I named Merlot. The new owner must be able to provide lots of out of cage time for Merlot and NOT clip his flight feathers.

According to my wife this little fella is pretty smart. My wife was laying on the sofa. Merlot was standing at the other end of sofa. My wife just waved at him asking him to come. He walked to my wife. Another time, Merlot was on the ceiling fan. My wife was halfway up the stairs and called him to come. He flew to my wife.
Too bad there is no harness of his size.

I let all the minies out and had Cocoa caged. They all seemed to enjoy the photo session. They flew to me on every recall except Opel who is semi tame.
Surprisingly, Merlot never missed his recalls. Little M is too fast. So difficult to shoot him in flight. Sorry for hijacking again. wink1
