Bird-safe icing? Is there such thing? I am making my birdy bread/cake, and I hope I can make an icing safe for my tiels. If not, will cracker crumbs be ok?

We have some organic peanut butter for the fids.....or maybe in the organic section you could find some of the "butters" like apple butter or almond. You could take some kidney beans and mash them up for a "frosting" or peas since it is near St. Patty's day or mashed bananas. Do you want this for a birdie cake for them or just as a treat for the birdie bread?
