Yes, I was thinking the same thing--Savvy does look like a little zebra.  They are all getting so big, and are getting cuter by the day.  loveuk

I am currently planning on keeping them all.  It is my responsibility that they bred, and I do not want any more unwanted budgies out there.  I'm going to order another flight cage so I will have a boy cage and a girl cage so this won't happen unless I plan it.  They will all have a forever home with me!  hugu

Here's baby Savvy!  So far, the only dominant pied markings are on his tail--his entire chest is solid blue.

(Taken without flash, so that is his actual color).

Sweet baby Pagosa!  She reminds me a lot of my late budgie, Sydney.  Pagosa will hold very still for the camera, just like Syd did.  happyjack

She has the same green band as her dad, Keiko!

Baby number 3!  I still cannot settle on a name for this little dude.  think

Does he look like he will be a normal green budgie when he feathers out?

And just because this picture is super cute...

ok I am officially a groupie!  OMG THE SWEETEST FACES EVERRRRRRRRRRR!!!  loveuk

I love their widdle fuzzy tooshies and widdle squishy faces...

i also HAVE to say , you ahve done a GREAT job photographing them!!!!! it is hard to explain to a non bird person how pinies grow in and how they look, etc, THIS picture (the pinnie toosh) was the best I have seen; their little faces, and things in the nest box for size comparison, and the lighting, and and and.. FANTASTIC job chronicling this, I think you should create an album.  thumb

looking forward to more more MORE!!

p.s. my suggestion for baby #3 is Tristan, which is traditionally a guys name but is also a girls name too, and the TRI in the prefix of the name implies "three" or "third" .  good for the birth order? there is also the Latin "Tertius" (pronounced TER-shusss) which means "third (born)"

Thanks so much for the comments everyone!  I am having so much fun photographing them and watching them grow.  happyjack

p.s. my suggestion for baby #3 is Tristan, which is traditionally a guys name but is also a girls name too, and the TRI in the prefix of the name implies "three" or "third" .  good for the birth order? there is also the Latin "Tertius" (pronounced TER-shusss) which means "third (born)"

Those are great name suggestions--I will definitely keep them in mind!  I just found out that the youngest is a she, so that should help me to narrow down the name options!

Oh, and Savvy fledged today!  He is doing great, already climbing up the ladder to a perch, picking at food, flapping his wings, and being an energetic little dude.  He is so sweet!  loveuk
