Many of you know thetim stated in his obituary that he wanted donations to go to Buffalo Parrot.  I did not feel taking any money would be appropriate and I knew how much he wanted to help the wild parrots in many aspects.  Donations did come to Buffalo Parrot and they were just donated from us to the World Parrot Trust just as I know Tomothy C Graham would have wanted.  Helping Parrots till the end, I love ya buddy.  Here is what we donated for..

*Donation - FlyFree Campaign

We need your help to permanently end the wild bird trade and return parrots to the wild. Your donation will be used to support efforts to end the trade throughout the world.

I honestly do not see the point of having to post a figure.  It's the gesture that counts, no?  It was not what we or Tim would have hoped for but enough to do some good.  To be honest nobody (here) donated and I did post this small request of anything you could spare.  I know times are tuff and they got the donation I know Tim would have wanted, not for BP but WPT. thumb

I posted what he wanted donated and said it was the Buffalo Parrot PayPal account and also posted once on his updated obituary which did finally state that.  It is no longer there (the funeral home) so no sense me posting the link.  I thought I really made a topic for just this but maybe I did not, my bad sadboy3

There was a mention here; http://buffaloparrot.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,9256.0.html
And also in his Obit, I know there was mention where we all left messages on the funeral home site. http://www.heritagememorialfuneralhome.com/_mgxroot/page_10780.php?task=Current&listing=All
We were shocked to find this out, about him or whomever deciding of having donations made to BP.  If it wasn't mentioned more I guess it is due to the circumstances and us not initiating it or anything.  It was touching and an honor and am glad the donations went to something he believed in.
Bottom line....his memory that we hold and what we shared with him. loveuk

I'm glad Tim would have been proud! He found out just how much people cared about him & his Asha when he needed help with her necropsy and he was deeply touched by the response.
