Congratulations Thetim!  You deserved this and (had the votes) ta boot and you will be forever immortalized in the Buffalo Parrot Hall of Fame.

I met Tim many years back on the Bird Channel.  I remember the first thread him and I were involved in.  This thread evolved into a “Civil War” feud, LOL.  We called each other every name (Rebel, Yankee, etc) in the book “sarcastically”.  Him and I butted heads frequently in the beginning due to the both of our sarcastic nature.  We kept it going till the day he passed as we knew it made people laugh.  Many here maybe though we butted heads but it was an act.  We became very close via the forums, phone conversations, IM’s and PM’s behind the scene.  We became such good friends I asked him if he would be the Chief Advisor for Buffalo Parrot.  He excepted it with honor.  He will always be the Chief Advisor and now one of my angels.  He and I talked about everything, not just BP.  We talked about food, family and more.  He was a very polite, caring, smart and funny person.  He was a TRUE friend!  I will miss sending him his bi monthly supply of Buffalo’s Webers mustard which he LOVED.  I was contacted last night via the phone and was told he was Chief Advisor of BP and wanted Buffalo Parrot’s PayPal address to put in his obituary and to ask to donate to Buffalo Parrot.  He was true to the cause until the end and beyond.  I will not take any money that is received.  I will send it to his wife which he loved dearly.  If any wish to donate, the BP for PayPal address is buffaloparrot@buffaloparrot.com  I am truly heart broken and did not sleep much last night.  It feels like someone took off my left arm.

Tim is dear to my heart and I will miss him badly.  It just will not be the same without him but I know he will be looking over us.

So now I must say goodbye dear friend, fly hi and give Asha a kiss for me and tell Miah I miss her.  I will see you again……

Well said, D...you've got the tears rolling down my face again. He will be greatly missed. I remember that first Civil War thread and was laughing along with you guys, you two always had an uncanny way of making me laugh.


I looked it up earlier and the memorial next Saturday that was listed on Facebook is about five hours from here. I am talking to my husband, but if we can rent a car for the weekend I may try to make it down there.

 I loved how you guys would mess with each other, you reminded me of brothers. 

I still cannot believe he is gone, I had planned to post all these pictures of cakes from the cake show I go to annually at the end of April.

I saw the announcement and my blood ran cold right after my stomach dropped.

I am so sorry, I think you were the closest to him D, and this loss must really hurt.

that was beautiful D.. my heart goes out to you as i know how close you and timmy boy were. i think we need to do something in his memory on here from time to time. like stuff in the man cave and rebel jokes and of course cheeto and cake things. i for one dont want his memory to fade nor asha's.

TT and Asha will always remain our Elite inductees and always on the perch of BP.
I think each of us or anyone that ever knew him had their own special and unique bond with him, that was just the type of guy he was.  He held many amazing qualities.
I guess from here I will try to turn the sadness into recalling the memories, or thoughts of what he would have said at certain times to just make you laugh or jaw drop :twirl:  I think he would want us all to find some joy in recalling our time together and sticking together here and helping others to learn and educate ourselves as well

You know whats funny?  Some questioned why I did another hall of fame vote so soon and the last few days I thought the same thing.  I just had a bad urge to do it and I did vote for thetim and wanted him in bad.  Hmm, maybe a little bird told me to do this in my sleep?  At least Tim got to see he was in the lead in the poll
