I have been trying showers with HW since he loves to be sprayed. He was not sure at first and was scared. Been working on this since we got him home in august. The last 2 times he loved it! This time he particularly liked it with his wings flapping smacking me in the face, bouncing on the perch and squealing with delight!

yay!!! congrats!! goooo hollywood!!!! you are the man! there is no better fun than to beat momma in the head with soggy feathers! <grin> that's really great ditty! skittles adores his showers, too. and it is so much easier to bathe such a big fid in the bathroom! lol! cause they can really soak a livingroom. at least the bathroom is somewhat waterproof. lol!

That's FANTASTIC!! No matter how much we spray them there is nothing better for them tan a shower. Have you tried sitting in the tub with him with a couple inches of water in there? May be a couple of foot toys too, wear shorts and a tank top while you do this LOL! You can also turn the shower on while he's in there. Some larger birds enjoy playing in the water, some don't.
