Yesterday, Ed's family and I went and picked up a Blue headed pionus.  clap  He's 5 years old, came with a beautiful oak cage (homemade, with bars on the sides and front and a wooden back), and just a sweetheart. I used to work with his previous owner, and she wanted to rehome him because he can be really cage territorial. I'm sure Ed and I can get him over that. Once he's out of the cage you can hug him, kiss him, etc etc. Very quiet like most pionus, and beautiful! Fully feathered, I'll post a picture when I go over to Ed's house next.

As for a name, he never had one... So we've decided to call him Rio after the movie that's about to come out.  :)

So that leaves me with my original 3 (military macaw, B&G macaw, and congro african grey), along with Ed's 3: B&G macaw, Black-headed caique, and now a Pionus.

And now, it's time for a dancing banana:  bananarama

Thanks guys! It may take a few days for pictures because I usually just spend weekends over at Ed's house. I'll post some as soon as I can though!
