wow! i'm impressed. i bought the largest roll available from petsolutions. its 100 ft long and 21 1/2 inches wide. it was on sale for $33.99. it has anmicrobial properties, so it helps cut down on ickies that grow in the cage tray. its very thick and stiff. like a very thick papertowel. seems like it'll be quite absorbent. we'll see for sure. i actually forgot i bought it and lined skittles, ollie, and twiggy's cages before i got it out. but i put it in the bottom of marley's cage and really like it so far. i have two layers in the bottom of his cage with some waxed paper between the layers. i give it three thumbs up! <grin> http://www.petsolutions.com/storefront/bird/pet-bird/litter-gravel/cage-liner-paper-rolls/prodcagelinerpaperrolls.html

I just bought some of that too! I bought the 25 foot roll to try it. My 'tiels new cage is too big to use brown paper grocery bags so I thought I would try it. Hope it works out for both of us!

Let me know what u guys think. I've not seen stuff like that before. Did u know plain black and white newspaper has antibacterial properties as well?

yup i did. but the humidity here is awful and little fuzzies will grow overnite on fruit in the cage tray. (marley has to have his late nite snack ) i'm hoping that it will help that. i can only change the paper so many times a day before i run outta paper! lol! so anyway, i'm trying to weigh the cost of the cage liners, which is more, with the paper, which i use more of. and it makes the bottom of the cage look so bright and clean. i know that sounds crazy but it actually brightens the cage up! lol! when i change skittles favorite morning poo spot, i'm gonna replace it with a square of the cage liner and see how it does with super poo!

I use roll paper for outside of the cage as a carpet protector. We all know it's too much to ask a fid to go potty in the cage during the day when they are out and about :twirl: It catches flung food quite nicely too! I use newspapers on the inside, so much easier to fold to fit rather than cut to fit. I'm too in the morning to be playing with scissors.
