The World Parrot Trust has a program called FlyFree. The program aids in the housing, feeding, and vetrinary support for parrots which have been rescued from the wild bird trade. Over the past year they have helped care for more than 2,500 parrots confiscated from the wild bird trade. Knowing that there are safe places for confiscated parrots to go to encourages local law enforcement to step in and seize the birds. It also provides conservationists with birds to repopulate areas where parrots have been driven to extinction. Through the help of a donor, if you donate money to the fund prior to January 31 your donation will be matched. If you can afford to make a donation of any size send it to: World Parrot Trust, PO Box 935, Lake Alfred, FL, 33850
