Many remember a few days ago I said we were going to have to give Chico a beak trim.  In case others do not know Chico has scissors beak.  We decided to wait a few more days after the Squiggy accident.  I went to get him a short while ago and noticed the jagged part of the beak was almost smoothed down to normal think  So now we are going to wait and see for a few more days as this really does stress him, and me sadboy3  We haven't had to give him a beak trim in such a long time and he has been doing great at trimming it his self recently.  Because of him I always keep 3 lava blocks in different places (tied to cage bars). They are made for such things and they are wonderful.  These things are made of lava rock and made into a block shape.  I hope he keeps it up and he is doing good on his own thumb  We shall see.

They help some, Chili adores his lava rock and it works very well on his nails.  They usually look like he just had a pedi! nails

We can try and get a pic of him.  He is REALLY hard to photograph as, as soon as he sees the camera he hides, and if you try to go where he does he runs and hides again slaph
