It will last over a month.  I store it in the freezer.  We serve it a little below room temperature.  No heating/cooking as most of this is raw so not to cook out the nutrients.  I get all the grains the day before.  I then poor that into a large bucket.  I heat water in a large pot almost to boiling.  I then poor the water and mix into the grains, cover and let soak for a few hours.  I then put all the grains in the frig and let chill for the next day.  I guesstimate how much veggies, fruits etc and bye as such.  I then chop em up, throw in a food processor (about 7-10 loads), and will then mix the mixture into the cooled grains, portion enough for one meal in ziplock bags, and then freeze.  This batch made 20 bags and they get it every other night.

" I heat water in a large pot almost to boiling.  I then poor the water and mix into the grains, cover and let soak for a few hours" do you leave the heat on low ,or turn it off?

The water is transferred from the heat source to the grain bucket.  No more heating after that.  It is hot enough to soften up the grains.  Again, my purpose is to keep as much nutrients from the grains and the less cooking the more nutritious.
