BrokenWing Chronicles
Don't be afraid!

As a Rescue person, the many that find there way to me are "after the fact".
The damage, "has already been done".
The abuse, "has already happened".

I saw a need to stop such abuse, "before it happened".
This has turned into a nightmare that seems to never end.

Over the years I have posted my work, my chronicles to show and try to help people understand the, whys, the hows, the whens, where,s to keep everyone updated on current conditions.

Through my travels I have seen some very horrible conditions and the horrors being done unto animals sometimes have made me ill, There have been many times I have desired to take the person that is harming animals and litterally beat that person down.
Do you think by doing so will change things?, maybe animal abuse would end right there and then!

If it were only that easy!

I wake every morning at 3 am, I grab a cup of coffee and head for my computer, I check my e-mail and the horrors begin.

I am the person that attends court proceedings concerning animal abuse.
I am a person that stands in front of the legislators and pleas for change.
I am the person that grabs the camera and runs out the door when I am called upon to investigate animal abuse.
I am the person that goes out the door when called upon to help an injured animal, any animal.

If you harm an animal.
I am the last person you will wish to see.

I will not back down.
I will not go away.
When it comes to stopping the abuse of animals.
I am here to stay.

I am there voices.
I am there cries.
Through me, they will be heard!

Warning; Graphic Content...don't turn and walk away...don't be affraid...watch the video.

WOW.WOW. WOW. I am at a loss for words, so I have to walk away from this thread before I say something heartfelt. That video was very, very disturbing and my heart breaks for those birds.  :'(

I could not even watch the whole video I am sick to my stomach and confused as to why they would have to do this.

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.

okay wow  >:(

I dont understand why they didnt just kill the goose Im sorry Im sure that ticks y'all off but seriously it would have been more humane!

Here in the US the down used is off of ducks that hunters often bring in. The down is removed and the meat returned (processed).

Wow is all I have to say.

It took me a long time to get the nerve up to watch this!  It wouldn't load for me and in a way i am glad, in a way I am not.  To make a difference We all need to see what is going on.  From the others responses I can basically picture in my mind what took place in the video and feel sick inside :-[

Basically Dad they are plucking the feathers off of the geese while they are still alive and you can hear them screaming...again my question is why? Why cant this be done after they are slaughtered. As I assume that is what is their next fate but because it is not in english I'm not sure.

And yes be afraid if you have a weak stomach don't watch it, sorry BW not everybody can handle it. I understand the need to get the word out there and educate people and sometimes the truth hurts. (but not as much as those birds are hurting)

So I guess my next question is what can we as the little people do?
Especially when things like this happen in forgen contries where they don't have a lot of laws and regulations.
