I have never really tried to alter anything before, so this was kind of fun!

I bought this little dress at walmart for $1 the other day, figured id see if I could get it to work for Maiya and if not no big loss.

So this is what it looked like to start with:
Front:

Back:

Now after:

front, the piece of fabric in the middle doesnt look like that anymore. I ripped it off and replaced it because it was really wonky.

back

and of course my little model:

Ignore the crooked seams, hard to sew with a dog on your lap LOL. I plan to fix the seams in a few days when I get a seam ripper lol

You make some really cute things.  If my handicapped doxie did not look so reproachfully at me when I have tried to put diapers on her, I'd get you to make me something to put on her sometimes, you know, like some kind of pants you could put it in and help keep it on her, you know what I mean?

Thank you both :)

Loonz, I know what ya mean. When Morgan is in heat I make her wear her Pj's with legs on them to hold her diaper on, that way she cant rip it off lol!

Maiya seems to enjoy wearing little clothes, but Daisy looks at me with those sad hound eyes like she is enduring something terrible!

That is so cute!  I love the contrast fabric you used too.  Your dogs have a bigger closet than Paris Hilton's dogs do!
