Last night I heard some scuffling in Squishy and Butters cage. I came out and said oh you stop it! It didnt sound bad, just like they were wrestling, playing really. I think, he must of somehow got wedged between a shelf and the cage..idk..that or Squishy bit him ( I dont want to believe that). Anyway...his insides where hanging out. There was no way to help him, he didnt make it. That was the most terrible thing I have ever seen.

RIP Butter

Thanks everyone. I havent been able to enjoy my other rats today, I cant look at his cage...I *sigh* just dont know after seeing that...I feel like it took away the joy of being owned by rats. I know it sounds awful but I considered giving up my other boys, I felt so sick and discouraged not being able to do anyhting for him. I dunno...hopefully in a few days I can enjoy my babies again. sadbigeye

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
