i ordered parts from ca birdnerds. they have so many great things it was hard to narrow it down. i made a plan of what i wanted to build and ordered the stuff...when i cleaned friday...i think i threw away my plan.  sadboy3
anyway now i have to remember what i wanted to make and set up my parts. they not only sent me my stuff and i got it a day early but i got a little packet of free goodies! check out all that wood for the fiddies to chew! and i think twiggy will have a stroke when she sees all that rope! lol!
the first 4 are all the stuff. the 5th one is the foraging toy. the  6th is the foot toys for marley. a barbell and "honeydippers".

OMG! I have been itching to do an order from them lately. Talon( gcc) and Kanye (brown headed parrot) go through toys like nothing. They cost more for me to entertain that tuki (B&G) costs me LOL

So which bag is your free loot?

you old are yours? I read that age plays a part in how often/which toys they play with :) He plays with toys a lot of the time, tasting them, climbing on them... he eats a LOT of the time (juvenile boys....  ashamed )

Love cali bird nerds  loveuk have fun toy making, the best part of toy making is watching the birds enjoy them.

Patti my zim does not hardley play with any hanging toys he like foot toys better have you tried both? Sometime if he does not touch a toy I will lay it on top of his cage and then he will play with it.  dknow

They are both 2 & 1/2. Ive tried both....of course Im not good about playing with them on the floor anymore. Cuz Charlie disrupts.

They used to play on doggies steps but I dont have them anymore, nor the couch. Now I have recliners. Ive been such a terrible Mom lately....just holding them a little bit each day- havent been feeling so hot vomit

It happens, I guess dknow sadbigeye

I first got Zuri to play with a forraging toy and one of those hanging ones with wood blocks and corn.  She was very wary of it and don't remember now how many days it took but she plucked all the corn off that one and then started nibbling at the wood.  She loved the forraging toys, started with the little green one you pull out the drawer (can't remember its name) and moved on up.  She now plays with all kinds of toys, except foot ones.

For those who don't know Zuri was cage bound and she didn't have toys, didn't know what to do with them.  So I figured food was the best way since she is food motivated.  So if your GCC's are food motivated maybe some forraging types.
