I know Debz that picture breaks my heart  sad8

Zimba was very quiet did not eat hardly anything and slept a lot all day Saturday after we got back (understandably)  Sunday he was quite again and not eating much and I was starting to get worried ( I know it was from all of the blood drawn, he was weak) but finally by Sunday night he ate some food and perked right back up…glad to have by baby back!   clap

nope, i hated that pic. it bothered me too much. i just decided to ignore it.
i'm glad zim is back to normal. that was a heck of a day. very busy, so it's no wonder it took some time to recover. i love greys. wish i could have one, but i dont think one would deal well with my house. kinda loud, with screaming macaws, caiques, and teenagers. not to mention the dog howling when skittles gets really wound up! and then, i'm gone for a good 40 hours a week. sometimes i work 9 or 10 days in a row. a grey would have trouble dealing, right?

525g is big, a true American size. Cocoa is only 435g, typical Asian size.

Glad to hear Zimba has recovered.

Well then Zimba could kick Cocca’s ass  slapf just kidding  laugh Cocca is probably much healthy (lean & in shape)then Zimba because of all of the flying she does.
He had a few feathers on one wing that got broke but the other side is full so when both wings have finally grown out I am going to start working on teaching him to fly. I feel bad he has been trimmed for some long he does not even know how to fly  sad8…but I am working on that!

E according to Avian Web site CAG (Congos) average weight ranges for Greys is: 380-554 grams for the TAG (Timmeh) is 300-360 grams. But I agree everyone that see Zimba says wow that is a big Grey!

Tozie yes I think Greys need more social time then other parrots…they are high maintenance, at least mine is  roll

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
