okay, we're starting with baby steps. skittles and i have started working on our new training toys.  we got out the box and colored shapes. i hand them to him and say the color. when he takes it i hold the box under him and say "put it in the box." when it falls in the box i make a big deal and say  yay!! and clap. so two sessions of this later. he knows what put it in the box is. cause when i say the command he purposely moves his head so it will fall in  the floor or  he drops it in the box, and then he screams for himself much like when we scream together.   handshappy  he is definitely trying to understand what i want. i think when he drops it in the floor he is just checking to see what kind of reaction he's gonna get. he gets bored with it after about 5 minutes. when he's done he will quickly grab them one after another and throw them in the floor!  lol
but i'm excited, we're making baby steps. i have faith we'll get there.
