I got my cube in the mail yesterday am.  Yoshi of course had to jump down as I was opening it to see what goods came. dmblaf  He jumped right down on it and started making smooch noises to the little monkeys. laffhrd  He was playing running in and out with Cassie while we had it out and he was getting used to it.  I figured I would take pics once I got it in and set up.  But the little stinker jumps out and runs over to me every time I get close enough to take a pic slaph

But needless to say he likes it!

Well I think Ditty put cardboard in the bottom to make it more sturdy since its all fabric so she can just change the cardboard out. But otherwise it is 100% washable too :) My ratties pee in theirs and I just toss them in the wash.

Debz,  Bella, Ducky, Jade and Buddy all sleep in fuzzy huts. They never poop in there.  They potty train themselves. QP's are very clean about their beds as far as I see. So is Bella...  I just love those monkeys.  laffhrd    I can't wait to see Yoshi in there with that quaker face peeking out....  loveuk

Wow that's interesting Jades. That makes sense, considering how much work they put into building their nests.  You know, come to think about it, how come I never hear anything about our QPs building nests? Do they loose interest in building in captivity? confused

Absolutely not. Ducky is a tucker...she tucks all toys and swings into the cage bars. And I always find pieces of wood from the toys and feathers in Ducky's food dish. Thats nest building behavior. And remember last year when I gave Buddy all those colored drinking straws...she wove them all together and into the cage bars.  It was a stupid thing to do. Threw her into breeding mode, then she laid 2 clutches of eggs. No more building around here, except for Ducky's compulsive decorating.

twiggy does lots of "decorating" she takes all her ropes and weaves them around her perches. and she had a wood toy with lots of ropes hanging from it. she will tie the ropes to her perches and make a little knot. she's never tried to lay...yet. but there isnt really anyplace to lay. her "nest" is never very sturdy and i move it occasionally (to clean the perches)

Yoshi doesn't build, weave, decorate at all.

Just be careful Tozie...Mrs. Buddy laid all her's on the cage grate.  And from what Chance and I knew, it was the first time Buddy laid, and she was 10.
