I agree with you Brokenwing. If I thought my birds would survive in the wild I would let them fly free. However, I have a bird with Atrophy of the wings and she would most definitely not survive. If I could keep the ones that would not live in the wild, I would be all for setting them free!! Let us remember though, that not all captive birds would be able to make it in the wild, what is to happen to them? Should they be Euthanized just because they can't fly?
