Guys, i know this is kinda bad, and if ya'll hate me then so be it, but because of family issues, I have to rehome Bilbo, Misty, Peanut, and Budgie. The reason I'm posting this on BP, is because I'm hoping that someone might take them, so at least i know for SURE they will be going to a good home, and staying in our family, so I can still see updates, and pics of them.
Ya'll all know i love them more than anyone will ever know. Ya'll know I have done everything right for them. But circumstances being as they are, and my UNCLE being the spoiled ass that he is, i can't keep putting the fids through that stress anymore. He yells, throws things around, has threatened the birds in the past, and I can't keep risking that anymore. Please, no one feel obligated to take them, I'm just putting this out there, just in case anyone does.

If anyone has anything mean to say, do it on PM please. The forums is no place for that.

Come here you    hugu  No one thinks bad of you...or they better not! Only you know in your heart what is best. As long as you find safe , secure, loving homes then its all gonna be ok. And it will all be OK. Don't worry ...just take your time and find good fits for them.  So, I take it you think you can keep Rodney. Thats good. I wish you weren't so far......even though I am pretty much at my limit, I would like to be able to help you find them somewhere nice to go. Let me know if there is anything I can do way up here in the armpit of central NY to help you. And don't worry...it WILL all work out.    hugu

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”

I'm sorry you have to rehome your little guys :(  I'd take them in a heartbeat if I had the room!  I'm sure you'll find them an awesome home, hopefully with someone right on here!  Keep us updated

are you trying to keep them together? where are you? have you considered fostering them til your situation is better? i'm all the way in fla.
i hate that you have to rehome them. i know how bad is is to live in such an environment. been there done that. i don't think anyone would be ugly to you for such a thing. it's hard to make that decision and i'm sure you didn't come to it lightly.

thinkin3 Just a thought....Would the nursing home want to adopt or foster them??  Maybe if they are at least close enough you can still visit or have visitation rights or joint custody???  Or what about the group that has been helping you with Rodney?
I am so sorry for all of this and understand how awful it is for you.

Very sad news we all know how much you love your fids and well you have done with them all, good luck I hope you find the great homes and you can keep in touch with them.
Mar has a great idea, maybe you could even be the care taker like ML2 takes care of some birds at a nursing home, that would be so nice everyone wins!

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.
