Yep...I heard peeping in the bird room last night so I ran back and opened the nest box (takin away the box does not stop her from laying eggs, she tends to lay more if I take it away) in the budgie cage and there are 2 TINY pink aliens! I do not know who the dad is, oiy. I shook the eggs but I guess not enough since they hatched. I didnt bother candeling since I shook them and figured they were no good anyway. Ill post pics soon, they are adorable but omg so not ready for babies! :oopse5:

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
St. Francis of Assissi

I didn't think the eggs Basil laid were going to hatch either! Funny how when you think it's not going to happen it does. I'm thinking our little aliens have the same hatchdates or only differ by one day. Can't wait to see what everyone will look like when they grow up, you might have some really cool color combos on your hands.  Congrats!
