Ooohhh I love when I find bargains!  handshappy  I was looking through the Drs Foster/Smith catalog for a digital scale and realized that as much as i need one, I just can't spend 70.00 plus shipping on it.  sad2
 I found this site toplinedigitalscales
http://www.toplinedigitalscales.com/Bird--Avian-c15.html
Free shipping and the scale is 40.00!  happy
So, I thought of posting the info, just in case someone is also in the market.

Debz, i went to walmart and bought one for less than $20.  I really really really like it.  It is battery operated, has a glass top, seems very accurate, measures g, kg, oz, lbs.  It has held up well both at home and work (where we use it to weigh our baby birds twice daily).  If you needed i am sure you could put something on top of for the birds to perch on but mine aren't freaked out by it in the least... i think b/c it is glass and not scary.
